The VIP Toilet comes with a 2-year limited warranty and will be free from manufacturing defects. This warranty is to extend only to the original retail buyer from the date of purchase. In a commercial application the VIP toilet has a limited 1-year warranty.

Not covered by this warranty are:

• Defects or malfunctions resulting from failure to properly install operate and/ or maintain in accordance with the enclosed installation manual, local codes or good trade practices.
• Damage resulting in unauthorized alterations, attachments and/ or repairs.
• Damage caused from sediments, rust, lime, hard water, or any foreign mater contained in the water system.
• Loss or damage from misuse, abuse, impacts, extreme weight, or negligence.
• Loss or damage due to fire, freeze, flood, electrical storms or any other catastrophic act of nature or god.
• Loss or damage from installing the unit in a harsh or hazardous environment including animals, plant molds, and insects.
• Loss or damage from chemicals such as chlorinates (found in public water supplies) or from cleaning products warned about in the installation manual.
• Do not put cleaning products such as chlorine tablets, powders, liquid cleaners, or any other type of cleaner inside the toilet tank.
• Do not use the fan system or activate the fan system while using chemicals or cleaners to clean the inside of the toilet bowl or the rim of the bowl.
• Do not remove the blue security sealant off any parts inside the toilet tank.
• Do not remove, alter, scratch off or cover ID # on the back of the tank.

Smith Innovations Inc. will only warranty products with receipts or online registration with proof of purchase and toilet ID # (located on back of tank).

Limitation of Remedy

1. The responsibility of Smith Innovations Inc. under this warranty is limited to the repair or re-placement (At the option of Smith Innovations Inc.) of the defective component or part(s).

2. In no event shall Smith Innovations Inc. be responsible for: consequential or incidental damages; damages arising from improper installation, improper use, abuse, alteration, impacts, excessive weight, or failure to follow the instruction manual or damages resulting from flooding, spills, overflows or any types of injuries in the vicinity of the toilet.

3. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not be for you.

This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties either expressed or implied. All other warranties, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed and excluded.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may have other legal rights, which may vary from state to state.
